Botts is in!
Jamey Newberg made my day with his afternoon update. Jason Botts has made the Opening Day roster!!!!! I couldn’t be happier for Jason. He deserves this!

I’m defintely happy for Jason. I just hope Ron Washington will play him.
Hopefully, Bottsy will have a hot start to the year and force the issue of playing time, and Kevin Mench will stay in AAA.
Perhaps the best part about all this though, is seeing Jason get some love from the organization – JD clearly wanted him on this team, so it’s nice to know somebody in the front office still has faith in Botts.
